Love Breakup Lessons: Kelly Clarkson Admits Post-Divorce Journey Isn't Over, Self-Improvement Comes First !

Kelly Clarkson opened up about her personal life and the importance of self-care during an interview on The Kelly Clarkson Show. Clarkson, who recently went through a divorce, admitted that she needs to focus on herself more in a relationship. She described divorce as difficult because she had thought she would spend her life with her ex. However, she proudly stated that she is currently enjoying being single and taking care of herself.

During the interview, guest Shannen Doherty mentioned how her dogs provide comfort during tough times. Clarkson agreed, revealing that her dogs now rule her bed since her separation and divorce. She joked that they would probably dislike any future partners who tried to join them in bed.

Clarkson and her ex-husband, Brandon Blackstock, got engaged in 2012 and tied the knot in 2013. They have two children together. Clarkson filed for divorce in 2020, and it was finalized in 2022. In September, Clarkson addressed her relationship status on Instagram Live, making it clear that she is currently not looking for a boyfriend.

She explained that she loves being single because she has a lot going on in her life, including her children, pets, and multiple jobs. During the interview with Doherty, Clarkson also discussed the emotional support she receives from her dog, Henry. She shared that he would comfort her during moments of grief by sitting with her and forcing his head under her arm.

She humorously wondered if there were any men like him around. Clarkson emphasized the importance of self-love and spending time with oneself. She described it as a powerful and empowering experience.
