Six-year-old Jodie Sweetin began her eight-year journey as sassy Stephanie Tanner on the hit sitcom Full House. During that time, Sweetin found a second family among her co-stars, including Andrea Barber, who played the wacky Kimmy Gibler.

Sweetin compares it to going home and seeing her parents, as they are the only people she has known for longer than her Full House family. In addition to Sweetin's personal journey, the Full House family also welcomed a new member. Ashley Olsen, who played Michelle Tanner, gave birth to her and her husband Louis Eisner's first child, a baby boy named Otto. Although Sweetin has not met the baby yet, she is thrilled for Olsen and hopes they find some peace and quiet in their lives. Tragically, the Full House family also faced a loss when Bob Saget, who played the patriarch of the Tanner family, passed away in January 2022.

Sweetin credits Saget, along with her onscreen uncles Dave Coulier and John Stamos, for teaching her how to deal with life through humor. They turned their own life experiences, including loss and grief, into something that could make people laugh. This ability to find humor in tough situations has been an important part of Sweetin's life. Sweetin has passed this lesson along to her daughters, Zoie and Beatrix. She believes that using humor is a powerful tool to navigate life's challenges. While her daughters may be receptive to her wisdom, they are not interested in taking fashion advice from their mom. Sweetin recalls her daughter coming out wearing Uggs boots and a Juicy Couture sweatsuit, much to her amusement. She realizes that her own mother had the same reaction when she was wearing bell bottoms in the 90s. It's a full-circle moment for Sweetin, experiencing the generational divide in fashion choices.
