Concert tickets for popular musicians like Adele and Bruce Springsteen have recently skyrocketed to record-high prices, leaving fans shocked and bewildered. One such incident involves British singer Adele, who recently announced the rescheduling of her Las Vegas residency and the cancellation of tour dates. In light of this news, concert tickets for Adele were being sold on StubHub for exorbitant prices ranging from $600 to a staggering $40,000. On Monday evening, two tickets for her performance were priced at an astonishing $41,280 each, while other ticket tiers were being sold for $20,000 or more.

Kicking off on November 18, 2022, and running until March 25, 2023, Adele's "Weekends with Adele" tour is already causing a frenzy. Tickets, which now start from over $1,100, are currently unavailable on Ticketmaster. Fans are eagerly awaiting the opportunity to secure a spot at one of her highly anticipated shows.

Meanwhile, another uproar occurred when fans attempted to purchase concert tickets for rock musician Bruce Springsteen. Due to Ticketmaster's "dynamic pricing program," ticket prices for his performances surged to an astounding $4,000.

Faced with the staggering costs, one fan took to Twitter to express their discontent, exclaiming, "Gotta get a 2nd mortgage to get a ticket." Another fan jokingly tweeted about waiting for a quote on selling their kidney just to afford a nosebleed seat. Many others vented their frustration and blamed Ticketmaster for their perceived "garbage" policies.

However, Ticketmaster defended its "dynamic pricing program" by revealing that only 1.3% of tickets for Springsteen's tour were sold for over $1,000. Despite the controversy, Springsteen and the E Street Band are still set to embark on their tour in 2023, with tickets going on sale on July 20. For example, tickets for Springsteen's concert at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, scheduled for March 16, will be available for purchase starting at 10 a.m. The excitement is palpable as fans eagerly await their chance to witness these iconic musicians live in concert.
