Mariska Hargitay Uncovers Epic Throwback Photo With 'Law & Order' Co-Star Chris Meloni
2024/01/02

Guess what? Mariska Hargitay just shared the most amazing throwback picture of her and Christopher Meloni. It's absolutely mind-blowing to see them looking so different from their characters on Law & Order! Mariska posted the picture on Twitter and it instantly became a hit. It racked up over 35,000 likes, thousands of retweets, and tons of responses.

Even the official Law & Order Twitter account chimed in, saying, "Thank you for this!" You probably remember that Mariska and Christopher shared the screen on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit from 1999 to 2011. But ever since Christopher returned to the Law & Order franchise for his new show, Organized Crime, people have been buzzing about their incredible on-screen chemistry. Since Organized Crime premiered in 2021, Mariska and Christopher have been gushing about their reunion and getting to work together again after all these years. Mariska even told ET earlier this year, " You know, when Chris left, I knew he would be back. I don't think he did - I know he didn't - but I did."

And so, that is refreshing and gives life to both of us. " But here's the juicy part. During the 2022 Primetime Emmys, Mariska and Christopher did something that had fans going wild. While presenting onstage, they pretended to kiss! It was a nod to the long-standing "will they, won't they" relationship between their characters, Olivia Benson and Elliot Stabler, that has been the talk of the town in the last few seasons of SVU and OC. When asked about their reunion and working on his spinoff, Christopher couldn't help but express his gratitude. "I go to work knowing how lucky I am, whenever we get together," he said on the red carpet. "It's great to know you have a touchstone to go back to. It's nothing but pleasure for me as long as we keep telling good stories." Wow, talk about a dynamic duo! It's incredible to see Mariska and Christopher's bond both on and off-screen. They truly bring magic to the Law & Order franchise, don't you think?
