Kelly Clarkson had a reason to celebrate this holiday season as she emerged victorious at the 50th Daytime Emmy Awards.  The singer and entertainer, aged 41, walked away with two prestigious trophies for Outstanding Daytime Talk Series Host and Outstanding Daytime Talk Series for her incredible work on The Kelly Clarkson Show.

Beating out tough competition from shows like The Drew Barrymore Show, Live With Kelly and Ryan, Today With Hoda and Jenna, and newcomer The Jennifer Hudson Show, Kelly's show proved to be the standout winner.  These wins bring her total number of Daytime Emmys to an impressive seven over the course of the show's first four seasons.

Although she couldn't be present at the event held at the Westin Bonaventure Hotel in Los Angeles, Kelly expressed her joy and gratitude on Instagram.  She wrote, "I am so proud of my whole team for our wins tonight!  Thank you to all of the people that started this show with us and to all of those who joined us this season!  Thank you to all of the guests and fans that take time out of their lives and schedules to come hang with us!  We are beyond blessed, and grateful, and so thankful for our new family and friends at 30 Rock who have been so supportive of our new home."  She was referring to the show's recent relocation from LA to New York City.

Aside from her Daytime Emmys, Kelly has also won three Grammy Awards, and she is hoping to add a fourth to her collection at the upcoming Feb. 4 ceremony.  She is nominated for Best Pop Vocal Album for Chemistry.  Interestingly, she shares the lead with Adele, as both artists have secured two wins each in this category.

The Daytime Emmy Awards, hosted by Kevin Frazier and Nischelle Turner, had been postponed for six months due to the writers and actors strike earlier in the year.  However, the delay only added to the excitement and anticipation surrounding the event.
