Cardi B and Offset are facing a lawsuit from their former landlord for allegedly trashing their rented Los Angeles home. The pair moved into the property in early 2020 and lived there for 20 months before allegedly vacating the premises without notice in October 2023.
The landlord, Rapkin and Associates, are seeking compensation for unpaid rent, utility fees, and significant property damage to the house. The damage includes permanent stains and scratches on the floors, rugs, and curtains, as well as paint marks on the furniture.
The landlords estimate that it could cost up to $85,000 to restore the luxury property to its original state.
Earlier this month, Cardi B confirmed her split from Offset and revealed that they had been living separately for some time. She explained that she had been afraid to admit their separation, but recent events made her feel it was time to be honest with her fans.
The couple, who married in 2017, previously split in 2018 but reconciled shortly after. In 2020, Cardi B filed for divorce but later changed her mind and withdrew the case. Looking ahead, Cardi B expressed her excitement for a fresh start in 2024. She is eager for a new beginning and is curious about what the future holds.
