The show drops a huge hint when Violet Finn, portrayed by the adorable Jophielle Love, reacts with excitement to Brook Lynn and Chase's engagement. She can't contain her enthusiasm and even tries to convince the adults around her, including Finn and Elizabeth, to make it official. She believes that if her cousin is getting married, everyone else should too. While Finn and Elizabeth have been taking their time with their relationship, it seems that things might be changing. Finn is realizing the importance of embracing life and living for the moment, especially considering his father's declining health. When he visits Gregory in the hospital, he's taken aback by his father's condition.
