Now that the SAG-AFTRA and WGA strikes are over, the cameras are finally rolling again on projects that had been put on hold. One of those projects is the popular TV drama series, "Yellowstone."

Fans of the show will be delighted to know that "Yellowstone" Season 5 Part 2 is set to debut in November 2024, with the season likely coming to a close in 2025. The first eight episodes of Season 5 aired from November 2022 to January 2023.

After months of back and forth, it was announced that Costner would not be returning to the series and that Season 5 would be the end of "Yellowstone. " Costner revealed during his divorce hearing in September 2023 that he had been offered $24 million to continue working on Seasons 5 through 7. However, creative differences led to Paramount backing out of the negotiations. Costner even mentioned the possibility of pursuing legal action to secure what he believes he is contractually owed for the latter part of Season 5. 

Costner needed a shorter shooting schedule for "Yellowstone" to focus on producing and directing his new films. Despite the challenges surrounding the conclusion of "Yellowstone," there are still plans for various spin-offs to continue without John Dutton. However, only time will tell whether these changes will be successful in keeping the essence of the show intact.

So, fans of "Yellowstone" can mark their calendars for November 2024, as the second half of Season 5 will finally reveal the fate of their favorite characters.
